About me

I'm a COO who works alongside CEOs to scale B2B technology businesses.

Background

Most recently I was COO of Friend MTS, a PE-backed cybersecurity and content protection business, where I led client services, 24/7 operations and IT, and drove the company's AI strategy: AI in the product, in how it's built, and in how the business runs.

Before that I was COO of Convertr, a VC-backed B2B SaaS business, where I led the shift from growth at all costs to efficient growth. I spent the thirteen years before that at Mimecast, from a startup of fewer than 50 people through to a Nasdaq listing, moving from sales operations to VP Enterprise Architecture. I started my career in operations at a digital print and reprographics business in Cape Town.

Along the way I've advised founders and investors on scaling, including operational due diligence for a PE firm.
